This page explains how to request deletion of your personal data from BRLab services, including data linked to Facebook, Instagram and other Meta platform integrations. It meets Meta’s user data deletion instructions requirement for apps.
1. Your right to deletion
Under the GDPR and Meta’s policies, you may request deletion of personal data that BRLab processes about you. This includes contact details, user accounts, preferences, and data obtained through Facebook/Instagram login or permissions, where applicable.
2. How to request deletion
Email [email protected] with the subject line “Data deletion request”. Include: (1) your name; (2) the email address linked to your account or request; (3) the service or app concerned (for example, the BRLab website, Facebook Login, or a Meta page/app); (4) your Facebook user ID, if you have it and it is relevant. If you start the request from Facebook app settings (“Remove your activity”), reply to the confirmation email we send you.
3. Facebook, Instagram and Meta
If you used Facebook Login or granted permissions to an app or page managed by BRLab, you can: (a) request deletion via the email above; or (b) remove the app’s access in Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, then contact us so we can delete any data we still store. Removing access on Facebook does not automatically erase copies already stored in our systems — an explicit deletion request is required.
4. What we delete
After we validate the request, we delete or anonymise: account identifiers, email, name, Meta access tokens, preferences, and other personal data tied to your profile for the indicated service. We may retain minimal records when required by law (for example, tax or security obligations), kept limited and protected.
5. Timeline and confirmation
We acknowledge receipt within 7 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, unless additional complexity or a legal obligation applies. We will email you a confirmation when the process is finished. If you need a status code for Meta’s deletion callback flow, mention it in your request and we will provide the corresponding reference.
